Danversbank's Blended Debit Card Rewards Powered by Metavante

Metavante_logo-140px.jpgMetavante has announced that Danversbank has deployed its expanded rewards and loyalty product to offer Danversbank's clients a blended rewards program that combines issuer- and merchant-funded rewards. "Through its deployment of Points2U Plus, Danversbank now awards cardholders with bonus points for debit card-based transactions made at participating retailers — this is in addition to the points a cardholder already earns by using their Dansverbank-issued debit card. The bank is also leveraging Points2U Plus to award double points for card use during seasonal promotions, as well as to reward cardholders with additional loyalty points for the use of other Danversbank services." Extending a relationship that began in 2005, First National Bank of Omaha will continue offering its smartOne Prepaid Solutions products and services with account processing and real-time account validation services from Metavante. Fidelity National to Acquire Metavante Technologies

Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) and Metavante Technologies have announced that the boards of directors of both companies have approved a definitive agreement under which FIS will acquire Metavante. Under the terms of the agreement, Metavante shareholders will receive a fixed exchange ratio of 1.35 shares of FIS common stock for each share of Metavante common stock they own. Link2Gov Offers an Alternate Way to Pay Taxes With Bill Me Later

Link2Gov has announced that it now offers Bill Me Later as a payment option for qualified taxpayers. Taxpayers can now log onto, powered by Link2Gov, to pay their individual or business federal taxes. Bill Me Later offers customers credit for single transactions at the point of payment online, and provides authorization for approved customers within seconds. Metavante to Acquire BenSoft

Metavante has announced it plans to acquire BenSoft Incorporated and its product, RepayMe. Metavante will integrate RepayMe into its existing Healthcare Payment Solutions suite of products. According to Metavante, "RepayMe software provides a Web-based tool for individuals who participate in various benefit programs to easily obtain reimbursement for eligible expenses that are covered by their benefit plans."

Metavante Acquires Nomad Payments Ltd.

Metavante Technologies has announced the acquisition of London-based Nomad Payments Limited, a provider of prepaid and debit card processing and licensed software. The purchase price was approximately $58 million. Nomad will now operate as Metavante Technologies Limited, part of the Metavante International Group.
