Galileo Processing has announced a "new suite of solutions that enable payment card issuing banks and payment card program managers to leverage the power of cloud computing while ensuring they meet required levels of security, performance, availability and regulatory compliance."

We have received news of the following recent management changes:

• Todd Brockman has been named president of Galileo Processing. Brockman formerly ran the prepaid business for Visa.

Visa USA has announced that nearly twenty issuers, partners, processors and acquiring financial institutions have agreed to implement Visa ReadyLink, Visa’s prepaid load network service. Visa recently announced an agreement with Blackhawk Network’s alliance partner stores, making Safeway the first in Blackhawk Network’s alliance of 60,000 stores in North America to implement Visa ReadyLink.

MasterCard Worldwide and InComm have announced the successful completion of the first cardholder point of sale transaction using the MasterCard rePower Load Network. MasterCard describes rePower as a new service "that allows consumers to add money to eligible MasterCard or Maestro branded prepaid cards at participating merchant locations."

Prepaid Media has announced that Vicente Fox, President of Mexico, John Philip Coghlan, President and CEO, Visa USA, Tommy Thompson, former US Secretary of Health and Human Services, and Richard “Casey” Hoffman, Texas State Deputy Attorney General for Families and Children will keynote the 2007 Prepaid Card Expo in Las Vegas.
