Coinstar has announced that CVS/pharmacy is expected to have gift cards available in more than 360 Coinstar Center kiosks in CVS/pharmacy stores this summer. The Coin to Card service allows consumers to convert their loose change to a CVS card at the Coinstar kiosk and pay no coin-counting fee.

As mentioned yesterday, West Coast Bank is now offering its banking customers the Coinstar line of gift card, prepaid wireless, cash card, and phone card products. According to a press release issued this afternoon, included in the products being offered are gift cards from food, entertainment and retail businesses including Chili's, Borders, Starbucks, Circuit City, AMC Theatres, KB Toys, and Timberland along with Green Dot prepaid debit cards.

The Portland Business Journal reports that West Coast Bank has announced a deal with Coinstar to offer prepaid gift cards through jointly administered kiosks in West Coast's branches. According to the article, "Lake Oswego-based West Coast Bank will join Coinstar, of Bellevue, as it becomes one of the country's first banks to offer cards from numerous merchants within its branches."

Coinstar has announced Eddie Bauer as the latest addition to its Coin to Card program. Consumers pay no coin-counting fee when converting their loose change to a variety of nationally-branded gift cards and eCertificates at Coinstar Centers. Eddie Bauer is the first apparel eCertificate in the Coin to Card program and it is currently available at more than 6,500 Coinstar supermarket and drug store locations across the United States.
