Acculynk, along with several eCommerce merchants, has announced the formation of the International Internet PIN Acceptance Consortium.

“Having this type of Consortium is important to the airline industry. Acculynk has announced an Internet PIN Debit Advisory Council to "establish the processes, procedures, rules and best practices around PaySecure for Internet PIN debit." Merchant e-Solutions has announced that merchants using its eCommerce platform can now offer their customers online PIN debit as an additional payment choice. According to the company, it is "utilizing Acculynk’s PaySecure® software-only service for online PIN debit transactions. Fiserv has announced that its ACCEL/Exchange Network will begin processing and offering secure Internet Personal Identification Number (PIN) debit transactions in November 2009, saying it will be the first PIN debit payments network to do so. The offering is the result of a partnership with Acculynk, provider of a software-only service that enables PIN debit payments online. READ MORE »

PULSE has signed an agreement with Acculynk under which PULSE will test Acculynk’s PaySecure Internet PIN debit technology in a pilot program. The pilot will involve selected PULSE merchant and financial institution participants and is slated to begin in the second quarter of 2009. READ MORE »

Acculynk has announced that its Internet PIN debit pilot program is scheduled to go live in early March with several issuers that will bring several million cards to the pilot.
