PayPal has introduced what it's calling a "comprehensive revamp" of its products - focusing on being a complete payments provider for small businesses. In a blog post by PayPal's Ed Eger, PayPal noted that it has dropped the word "website" from its US product names - highlighting its move away from its traditional online payments role to one of providing multi-channel payment solutions for small businesses. Eger wrote:
