C-SAM has announced it has licensed its wallet management platform and software development kit (SDK) to Isis to support the Isis Mobile Commerce Platform. "The C-SAM platform will enable Isis to offer smartphone users a comprehensive mobile wallet for conducting secure near-field-communication (NFC) transactions related to payments, rewards, coupons, tickets, transit and other services."

AisleBuyer has announced AisleBuyer mDine, a "smartphone application that leverages AisleBuyer's mobile commerce platform to enable customers to place food orders and pay in real-time from an iPhone, Android or BlackBerry. With mDine, the restaurant industry can now provide a faster, more personalized dining experience for patrons."

Citigroup, through its Global Transaction Services unit, has announced the launch of its Citi Virtual Card Accounts (VCA) in South Africa and the United Arab Emirates, "as well as the completion of essential enhancements to support clients’ growing use of the VCA solution for Accounts Payable spend and complex vendor payments globally. VCA is a global, electronic payment solution which offers unparalleled security, control, and efficiency using single-use commercial card account numbers."
