ViVOtech Launches ViVOtag Stickers, ViVOapps Coupon Software

vivotech-logo.gifViVOtech has announced the launch of its ViVOtag sticker solution and its backend ViVOapps mLoyalty redemption software designed to "enable merchants to deliver targeted and engaging mobile advertising, marketing and loyalty programs to customers’ existing mobile phones."

Today, merchants and mobile marketers have a difficult problem in redeeming and measuring their mobile advertising and marketing programs. Redeeming mobile ads, coupons and promotions at the point of sale (POS) using manual code entry or scanning bar code off mobile phone screens slows down check out lines – limiting usage. Without fast and intuitive electronic redemption at the point of sale, mobile marketing may not become widespread. ViVOtag solves this problem by adding intuitive contactless technology which can be applied to any mobile phone today, turning it into a loyalty device, which can dramatically increase merchant loyalty card wallet share and consumer usage.

Additionally, ViVOapps™ mLoyalty redemption software allows merchants to bundle a loyalty program with mobile add, coupons and promotions and deliver them via text, SMS or MMS message to the consumer’s mobile phone. In order to redeem one or more coupons, the consumer simply taps their ViVOtag enabled phone once onto the contactless POS at the checkout. With this solution, consumers can also receive in-store personalized services, advertising or offers by tapping their phone onto contactless-enabled kiosks, digital signage, price checkers or POS systems to notify merchants of their presence in the store. These solutions provide the basics to enable true one to one marketing and delivery of personalized in-store services via mobiles.

“Mobile marketing and advertising spending is expected to reach $50 billion by 2014, but that’s only possible if mobile marketers are able to offer an easy-to-use and redeem solution that drives high customer participation and provides a measurable solution for merchants to gauge the efficacy and return on investment of their mobile loyalty and marketing programs,” said Mohammad Khan, ViVOtech’s president and founder. “The combination of ViVOtag and ViVOapps mLoyalty software in conjunction with ViVOtech’s broad range of ViVOpay contactless readers allow mobile marketers to deliver scalable and highly efficient mobile advertising and marketing solutions that will help merchants drive more traffic to their stores and influence in-store up sell opportunities.”
