Guardian Analytics Appoints Terry Austin CEO

Austin, 46, was most recently CEO and president of MarketLive, a leading provider of eCommerce platform solutions, where he created a scalable business strategy, assembled a world-class executive team and led a successful $20 million series E capital raise. He was previously president of worldwide marketing and sales at Good Technology, a provider of mobile computing solutions, where he spearheaded the company’s rapid growth from 10,000 to over 500,000 subscribers and facilitated its acquisition by Motorola in January 2007. Austin has also served as president of EMEA and executive vice president for Manugistics, a market leading provider of enterprise software. He started his career at Accenture, where he ultimately led an $80 million consulting practice as a lead partner.

Irfan Salim, president and chief executive of MarkMonitor and well-known security industry veteran, has been appointed to the board of directors, effective immediately. Salim has more than 20 years of experience in growing and leading world-class Internet security, fraud prevention and domain registrar companies. Prior to MarkMonitor, Salim was president and chief operating officer of Internet security company Zone Labs, which was acquired by Check Point Technologies. Earlier, he was president and chief executive of NameSecure.com. Salim has also held positions as president of U.S. and European operations at TrendMicro; president and chief executive at Software Publishing Corporation; and vice president and general manager of the Spreadsheet Division at Lotus Development.
