More on Our Use of Twitter
Almost 300 folks are now following Payments News on Twitter since we began posting in real-time to Twitter last May. If you're active on Twitter and would like notification in your Twitter feed when we post a new item to Payments News, it's easy to subscribe to the Payments News Twitter feed!
Since we started on Twitter, about 1,500 "tweets" have gone out in real-time as we've posted new stories here on Payments News. Read on if you'd like to learn more - on the other hand, if you prefer receiving only a daily email update from Payments News, Twitter's not for you!
For more about why we're doing this, see this item titled "How We're Using Twitter with Payments News" that I posted in early December.
Something I didn't mention in that article is that we're usually monitoring the PaymentsNews Twitter feed in real-time - meaning you can talk to us there!
If you're totally new to Twitter, you might find this article titled "Twittering Tips for Beginners" by David Pogue in today's New York Times to be a useful introduction.
If you want to read my personal blog post earlier today titled "Twitter for Breaking News" about how Twitter is becoming the best source of news as it happens, click here. My personal Twitter account (sjl) is here.
