Elavon Rolls out BOC, Gift Card Solution at L'Occitane Retail Stores
Elavon has announced it has completed the rollout of its Electronic Check Service (ECS) solution, utilizing back-office conversion (BOC), at L’Occitane’s 166 luxury bath and body product boutiques across the United States. In addition, L’Occitane has also agreed to implement Elavon’s electronic gift card (EGC) solution just in time for the holidays for both in-boutique and online environments, offering customers the opportunity to purchase, redeem and reload cards in either environment.
L’Occitane also uses Elavon for credit card processing, providing the retailer with one source for all their payment processing, funding and customer service needs.
“Managing all of L’Occitane’s payments activity across the U.S. with a single provider maximizes our efficiencies across the board,” said Wilfrid Poisnel, Chief Financial Officer at L’Occitane. “The delivery of next-day funding for all types of payment transactions is critical in today’s environment, and the opportunity to create new revenue-generating strategies through a fully supported gift card program is a huge asset to us as the holidays approach.”
“In today’s marketplace, retailers are struggling to stay competitive and run efficiently,” said Stuart C. Harvey, Jr., CEO of Elavon. “L’Occitane has always been ahead of the curve in that respect, and we are pleased to continue offering tailored solutions that positively impact their business model.”
