Bill Me Later has announced that the number of online stores, catalogs and travel partners offering its payments approach has exceeded the 1,000 mark. According to the company, "the merchants in the network represent top-tier retail, airline and hotel brands offering tens of millions of products to Bill Me Later’s rapidly expanding consumer base."

Bill Me Later has engineered a next-generation payment technology to augment the rapid innovation in ecommerce, offering a convenient and secure way to buy online, in call centers and via automated phone service without credit cards. Bill Me Later works closely with retail and travel merchants to provide flexible financing and cost-saving offers available exclusively to Bill Me Later customers.

“Our shoppers are smart,” says Vince Talbert, vice president of marketing for Bill Me Later, Inc. “We know that they are savvy spenders who are looking more judiciously at how to spend their money. Bill Me Later customers actively seek out merchants who offer our unique payment service and help to drive the rapid growth of our merchant network. In the past three months we added premier retailers such as Borders, QVC and Amazon and more are on the way to ensure that our customers have a broad selection while shopping during the busy holiday season.”

According to Jupiter Research, 32 percent of the Top 50 U.S. online retailers now accept Bill Me Later. Jupiter also found in a 2008 study that Bill Me Later users are more likely to prefer the Bill Me Later payment option over their other payment products when shopping online.

Retailers select Bill Me Later to simplify the payment experience to capture lost sales, increase customer loyalty and maximize profits by driving incremental sales and higher order values. Furthermore, the Bill Me Later customer - online, educated and affluent - is the most sought after demographic in the nation.

Through a single implementation of its Bill Me Later product suite, merchants gain access to a set of technology solutions, including Bill Me Later and its unique integrated marketing programs and financing offers, Bill Me Later® Business, and a private label credit card program.
