Bill Me Later Adds Fujitsu Computer Systems as Merchant
Bill Me Later has announced that Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation has made Bill Me Later Business available to businesses that purchase Fujitsu LifeBook notebooks and tablet PCs, Stylistic slates and mobile computing accessories on www.shopfujitsu.com and through the company’s 1-800-FUJITSU sales center.
With Bill Me Later Business, Fujitsu business customers now have a new way to pay for online and phone orders without sharing credit card information.
For a limited time, Fujitsu is offering customers that pay using Bill Me Later Business no payments for 90 days on purchases of $250 or more.
Bill Me Later Business is the first payment service to offer a multichannel approach to help suppliers meet the purchasing needs of business buyers. The payment offering simplifies the payment process and increases purchasing power through special terms and financing options without requiring lengthy applications, credit cards or purchase orders. All purchases made through the service are tracked on one monthly bill and the account can be customized to accommodate multiple users and pre-set spending limits.
“Fujitsu continually explores new ways to improve the customer buying experience,“ said Paul Moore, senior director of mobile product management, Fujitsu Computer Systems. “We originally deployed the Bill Me Later service to individual consumers, and based on the positive results, we are extending the service to our business buyers. Bill Me Later Business complements our existing financing programs, offering another very useful payment option to meet the very diverse needs our business customers.”
“In working closely with partners such as Fujitsu on their payment strategies, it quickly became apparent that there was a need to extend next-generation payment services to business buyers, especially the small and medium business segment,” said Mark Lavelle, vice president of corporate development at Bill Me Later. “Bill Me Later Business helps suppliers to capture a larger share of the annual $35.5 billion small businesses spend online, while alleviating the purchasing frustrations that these buyers have experienced for years.”
In addition to providing shoppers with an improved shopping experience, Bill Me Later, Inc. allows retailers to simplify the payment experience to capture lost sales, increase customer loyalty and maximize profits. Through a single implementation of its Bill Me Later product suite, merchants gain access to a set of technology solutions, including Bill Me Later and its unique integrated marketing programs and financing offers, Bill Me Later® Business, and a private label credit card program.
