TrialPay Expands Advertising Options
TrialPay has announced the launch of a new Gifts & Gourmet category with the company saying that "top companies from the food industry have enlisted in this new advertising section, marking a milestone for the payment method widely used for digital goods and services."
TrialPay is a revolutionary payment platform used by leading e-commerce merchants from the software, casual games, online services, publishing, online retail and social networking industries. TrialPay lets customers pay for items online by completing one offer from a network of 2,000 blue-chip advertisers.
With the launch of the Gifts & Gourmet category, customers can now pay for software, online subscriptions and more by mail-ordering fresh lobsters from Legal Sea Foods, purchasing money-saving gift certificates from Restaurant.com or buying sweet treats from David's Cookies. Gifts & Gourmet joins TrialPay's 12 other advertiser categories, which include Music/DVDs/Games, Clothing & Fashion and Books & Learning.
"Now customers can get digital goods and services for free by buying dinner, dessert or even wine," said Alex Rampell, co-founder and CEO of TrialPay. "This new category is a direct result of our success with advertisers in the food industry and proves that TrialPay's model can be effective for any type of business."
With TrialPay, everyone benefits--shoppers get their original product for free, merchants make more sales and advertisers acquire new customers on a pay-for-performance basis. David's Cookies, an online retailer of cookies, cakes and other specialty desserts, was TrialPay's first major advertiser from the food industry. The company's success has played a big part in the creation of the Gifts & Gourmet category.
"Our TrialPay sales have quadrupled since this time last year and we expect the addition of a Gifts & Gourmet category to boost our sales even more," said Dennis Consorte, Director of E-Commerce at David's Cookies. "This category creates a unique opportunity for companies like ours to reach new customers with a great 2-for-1 deal at a time when many people are cutting back on dining out and sending thoughtful gifts like fresh-baked cookies.
