CardinalCommerce and Bill Me Later have announced that consumer electronics retailer Crutchfield Corporation has deployed the Bill Me Later payment option. According to the companies: "since it rolled out Bill Me Later in its call center and on its web site, approximately 40 percent of Crutchfield’s Bill Me Later sales come through the Bill Me Later Network and nearly 60 percent of those Bill Me Later users are new customers for the retailer."

Crutchfield was able to get Bill Me Later implemented and online quickly by using Bill Me Later QuickPathSM, an easy to deploy version of the service available exclusively to CardinalCommerce customers.

CardinalCommerce’s Cardinal Centinel™ platform gives retailers fast access to a suite of easy-to-integrate payment options, including Bill Me Later. Crutchfield is also leveraging Bill Me Later’s deferred billing options, as well as integrated marketing programs to extend special offers and promotions to its customers to improve customer loyalty and increase sales.

“Working with Cardinal Commerce we integrated Bill Me Later onto our existing payments platform,” said Deborah McPhillips, Director of Financial and Operational Analysis at Crutchfield Corporation. “Customer service is a cornerstone of our business and we are constantly looking for new ways to enhance the customer experience. Bill Me Later has extended our award-winning customer service to the payments process and our Bill Me Later sales exceeded our expectations right from the start.”

Bill Me Later, Inc. enables retailers to simplify the payment experience to capture lost sales, increase customer loyalty and maximize profits. Through a single implementation of its Bill Me Later product suite, merchants gain access to a set of technology solutions including Bill Me Later, deferred billing, private label credit card programs, Bill Me Later Business and integrated marketing programs.

“The Cardinal Centinel platform makes it almost effortless for retailers to extend their payments processing capabilities as their businesses grow,” said Matt McDowell, Vice President of Merchant Services at CardinalCommerce. “Since we began offering Bill Me Later QuickPath earlier this year, we have seen a positive response from our customers.”

“Leading multichannel merchants like Crutchfield have discovered that payment options can serve as a valuable marketing tool for acquiring customers, increasing sales and driving customer loyalty,” said Vince Talbert, Vice President of Marketing at Bill Me Later, Inc. “Our partnership with CardinalCommerce makes it even easier for retailers to take advantage of the benefits of Bill Me Later through a streamlined integration process.”
