TrialPay Updates Business Results
TrialPay has announced that it has achieved more than 2.6 million registered users, 1,000 merchants and over 2,000 advertisers using its platform and that its user base continues to grow with more than 10,000 individuals registering daily.
“As all online merchants know, it is very difficult to get individuals to pay for digital goods. Even the most successful sites are only able to convert a small percentage of individuals into paying customers,” explained Alex Rampell, founder and CEO of TrialPay.
“Merchants who add Google Checkout, Paypal or Bill Me Later increase options for the consumer but in the end it is just shifting the consumer payment burden to another platform. Merchants who use Trialpay however, actually unlock the consumer’s willingness to pay by allowing one of our premier advertisers to pay on the consumer’s behalf. We have created an incredibly quick and easy-to-implement solution that benefits three distinct audiences: individuals get the products they already want, for free; merchants increase their sales and response rates; and advertisers get new highly-targeted customers.”
Key TrialPay Benefits for Each Audience:
- Individuals use TrialPay to get the products or services they want for free. TrialPay provides a “no hassle” alternate payment solution through a unique one-to-one, offer-to-product experience. The individual receives the product they are buying for free by choosing and completing just one offer from a TrialPay advertiser.
- Merchants use TrialPay’s payment solution to quickly win over non-converting visitors. TrialPay’s proprietary optimization technology automatically provides consumers with highly-targeted offers from relevant advertisers in order to maximize conversion. Most merchants can sign up for TrialPay and be ready to launch within an hour.
- Advertisers use TrialPay to capture highly-qualified consumers who are ready to make a purchase. Our network of leading merchants in retail, software, games, online services, and publishing, reaches millions of potential customers.
TrialPay has established relationships with merchants and advertisers such as Gap, DiscoverCard, FTD, McAfee and American Express. The company is backed by funding from Battery Ventures, Index Ventures and high-profile individual investors including Ron Conway and Robert Pittman.
“TrialPay has achieved very significant adoption by the online merchant community,” said Roger Lee, general partner at Battery Ventures. “Its unique payment platform is dramatically increasing conversion rates for online merchants, yielding significant incremental revenue for these companies by simply empowering their customers with another payment option.”
“The TrialPay team has brought an elegantly simple concept to life,” said Danny Rimer, general partner at Index Ventures. “A new approach is great, but if it doesn’t deliver results, no one cares. TrialPay easily quantifies results and shows both the merchants and advertisers real economic value to their bottom line. It’s a new direction in online payments, and a new relationship between consumers, merchants and advertisers where everyone wins.”
