FiftyOne from E4X Makes Selling Internationally Easier

Tags » ECommerce Payments

E4X has announced FiftyOne, a global ecommerce solution it says is designed to overcome the complexities of cross-border ecommerce and help online retailers sell internationally with no more effort than selling domestically.

"The internet has always promised to facilitate market expansion on a global scale, but failed to deliver because the realities of currency, payment and logistics made it too difficult," says Michael DeSimone, E4X CEO. "After seeing the challenges our merchants faced firsthand, we decided to make international sales simpler. The fact is cross border sales volume is now growing twice as fast as domestic sales. It's clear that US based internet retailers need high quality, comprehensive solutions to access these customers. We firmly believe the future for online merchants is global," continues DeSimone.

FiftyOne manages every aspect of the international sale, making international transactions look the same as domestic transactions from the perspective of US merchants:

  • Global Logistics: Merchant ships to a domestic hub and FiftyOne handles the international shipping, providing the buyer with a lowest guaranteed final price to deliver the product to their door, eliminating any surprise fees or surcharges
  • International Payments: Multicurrency credit card processing and international fraud screening. Buyers are charged and pay in their own currency while merchants are paid in USD at time of order without FX risks
  • Merchandising: Local currency pricing, screening of restricted goods and more make the merchandise on a US website more attractive to international shoppers
  • Post Sale Support: Allowing merchants to provide international shoppers with the same level of customer service provided to American shoppers

FiftyOne seamlessly interfaces with all major ecommerce and operating systems, through a single integration. The solution currently offers shipping to 28 countries with more to follow in the near future.
