China UnionPay To Expand Worldwide
Zhang Fengming reports for the Shanghai Daily on plans by China UnionPay to expand into eight more overseas markets this year - including Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Egypt, South Africa, England and Canada. "We plan to build up UnionPay as the second passport of Chinese in the overseas market in our five-year plan," said Yan Qiang, assistant president of UnionPay. "UnionPay aims to cover 99 percent of overseas countries and regions where Chinese travel."
