SunTrust Announces Treasury & Payment Solutions Division
SunTrust Banks has announced the re-branding of its treasury management division to SunTrust Treasury & Payment Solutions. According to the bank, the new name is "in line with a shift in the marketplace, where corporate treasury departments are expanding in scope and often contributing significantly to corporate strategy and decision-making."
"Our clients are faced not only with increased opportunity, but also increased pressure to drive financial performance, typically without the commensurate resources," said David Fuller, Senior Vice President, Head, Treasury & Payment Solutions. "They need more integrated payment solutions - ideas and advice that help both streamline business processes and ensure proper operational controls - rather than a product-centric offering."SunTrust's treasury experts can respond to clients' needs across the full spectrum of the bank's payments capabilities - merchant processing, commercial cards, including corporate, purchasing, fleet and payroll cards, in addition to traditional treasury management products such as ACH, lockbox and online information reporting.
