Chockstone Powers Ticketmaster's First Gift Card Program
Chockstone has announced that its technology is powering Ticketmaster's first-ever Gift Card program - enabling consumers and corporate buyers to purchase gift cards redeemable toward tickets to participating events on sale through Ticketmaster throughout the United States.
The Gift Cards will be available for purchase and redemption online at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone through Ticketmaster's Charge-by-Phone network, and at most retail Ticket Centers and select venue box offices."Ticketmaster Gift Cards are a great addition to the many choices we offer to sports and entertainment consumers, and we're especially thrilled to be introducing Gift Cards just in time for the holidays," said Sean Moriarty, President and Chief Operating Officer of Ticketmaster. "We view technology as paramount in delivering service to our customers - and we needed just the right technology partner to help us bring this offer to market. We found that in Chockstone."
Chockstone's platform has enabled Ticketmaster to transition from its previously existing paper-based gift certificate model. The move is expected to add significant convenience for Ticketmaster customers and expanded sales channels for its business partners.
"Chockstone's card programs deliver additional value by providing businesses with new avenues to serve and expand their customer base," said Chockstone CEO and President Jeffrey Lipp. "We are thrilled to put these capabilities to work for leading retail brands like Ticketmaster."
