InComm's Approach To Innovation For Promotions, Incentives Industry

Tags » Gift Cards, InComm  » Comments (1)

InComm says that, while many companies can provide gift cards for incentive programs, it "enables its partners to differentiate their offerings with exclusive features that have proven extremely popular among consumers."

For example, "InComm's patent-pending Win It Now! product takes gift cards to the next level by adding a unique twist to a product that is already wildly popular in the incentives industry. WIN! cards are similar to traditional gift cards, but a scratch-off area on the back offers recipients the thrill of the chance to win large prize values. Consumers who have received WIN! cards love the excitement associated with the chance to win extra value, something traditional gift card programs cannot offer."

"In today's competitive world, companies of all sizes need creative, cost- effective solutions to provide employee or customer incentives," said Brooks Smith, InComm President and CEO. "With our WIN! product and our new alliance with Serious USA, InComm can create promotional products and programs that no other company can offer."

As the nation's largest provider of gift cards, wireless, downloadable music, debit cards and other prepaid products, InComm has solutions for any promotion. InComm recently expanded its Promotions Group to help serve the growing demand among partners and other businesses looking for a full-service partner for promotional efforts including sweepstakes, loyalty programs, customer incentives, employee rewards and more.

InComm's partnership with Serious USA enables InComm to provide customizable DVD and CD content along with gift cards. Serious' patented CD- Cardz(TM) and DVD Cardz(TM) are shaped and sized like traditional gift cards, and can be redeemed as such, but the underside of the card is actually an interactive CD or DVD that allows recipients to enjoy customized digital content including video, music and other interactive experiences.

The WIN! and Serious technologies further increase the number of unique approaches that InComm now offers for card-based merchant programs, including consumer promotions, rebates and loyalty programs. In addition, InComm has developed a number of card-based loyalty and rebate solutions that significantly increase the flexibility that merchants have in developing customer loyalty and incentive programs.

For companies with existing programs, InComm offers a number of products that can quickly and easily be purchased in bulk quantities. InComm's Vanilla Visa Gift Cards are popular gifts for employees or other promotions. InComm makes purchase and delivery easy for small and large quantities.

InComm also offers many popular gift cards from leading retailers including restaurants, clothing stores, theme parks, travel and more -- something for every occasion.

"InComm has a unique combination of technology and product expertise that makes us a strong partner not only for retail product sales, but also for promotional programs," Smith said. "Our Promotions Group is dedicated to helping companies take advantage of our product and technology solutions to make promotions better and easier, just as we have made buying easier for hundreds of successful retail products in the market today."

InComm's technology allows leading retailers in a number of categories to offer the most popular products in prepaid wireless, gift cards, downloadable music and ring tones, prepaid debit cards, long-distance and more. InComm's retail distribution network reaches more than 145,000 retail locations, including:

  • Three of the four largest grocery store chains
  • The four largest big box retailers
  • Seven of the top 10 drug store chains
  • Ten of the top 15 convenience store chains
  • The four largest electronics retailers
  • The three largest office supply chains
  • Three of the largest dollar store chains.

I am disgusted and embarrassed that my friends and family would spend their hard earned money on Vanilla Visa Gift Card issued by Incomm AKA Worthless giftcards.
Their terms and conditions are predatory and their customer service department is in need of additional training.
The business model of charging folks any amount for an unused balance is really disturbing. Customers should begin to ask for their money back when we purchase products and you have our money sitting in your bank account. No worries though. I am one consumer and it matters little what I think of your organization. However, suffice it to say that I will never have any part of buying a gift card from your organization. The Visa logo....what a joke!
