WAUSAU, Solutran To Deliver Remote Capture Solutions

WAUSAU's Remote Corporate Capture solution was recently named "Best of Breed" among remote deposit capture (RDC) solutions by Celent, the respected Boston-based industry analyst group. In its July, 2006 analysis of RDC vendors, Celent cited WAUSAU as the overall performance leader, based on advanced technology and breadth of features categories. The WAUSAU Remote Corporate Capture suite for payments and deposits includes PC-based, web- based, lockbox and ASP offerings.

Solutran has already deployed WAUSAU's Remote Corporate Capture solution to several clients. Some sites are using the software to capture thousands of check images daily at their locations and transmit these images to Solutran for quicker item processing and funds transfer. Solutran offers a full range of transaction processing services for its customers to deliver enhanced efficiency and cost effectiveness.

The WAUSAU Remote Corporate Capture solution also delivers Solutran and its customers the opportunity to take advantage of check-to-ACH conversion capabilities, such as Accounts Receivable Conversion (ARC) and Back Office Conversion (BOC). BOC, which NACHA approved for implementation in March 2007, allows originators, such as retailers, to accept checks at the point of purchase or a manned bill payment location and convert those checks to ACH debits during back office processing. This, in turn, speeds money movement and increases funds availability for retailers, financial institutions, corporations and others.

The Celent report on remote deposit capture demonstrated WAUSAU's leadership in RDC functionality, citing its combination of multiple strong client application options, its capabilities for both wholesale and retail lockbox integration and its robust, web-based entitlements, administration, risk management and reporting in deeming WAUSAU's RDC "the most capable solution available."
