Southwest Airlines has announced that you'll be able to purchase the Southwest Airlines southwestgiftcard at stores such as Albertsons, Kroger, Safeway, and at participating SAM'S CLUB and Wal-Mart locations, the southwestgiftcard will be available in either $50 or $100 denominations. Southwest Airlines worked with SmartClixx LLC to distribute the southwestgiftcard at retail locations.
"By being at retail locations, we are making it easier for our Customers to purchase travel on Southwest Airlines, just in time for the holiday season," said Kevin Krone, Southwest Airlines' Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Distribution. "We've made it easier than ever to give the gift of a destination, and allow friends and family to experience Southwest's outstanding Customer Service, frequent flights, and low fares."
In addition to the newest retail locations, the southwestgiftcard can always be purchased on the airline's web site at http://www.southwest.com/gift_cards and may be redeemed at any Southwest Airlines location, such as southwest.com, Southwest airport ticket counters, or by calling Southwest's toll-free Reservations line (1-800-435-9792). Additionally, the southwestgiftcard never expires and won't lose value over time.
"We are excited to partner with Southwest Airlines in their launch into retail stores. With our experience in gift card software and multiple retail distribution channels, we look forward to extending their brand even further," said Gary Dinkin, Chief Executive Officer of SmartClixx.
