Peppercoin To Provide Garden Fresh Restaurant Loyalty Program
Peppercoin has announced that Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. will use its Small Payment Suite and consulting services to enhance its customer loyalty program in its 98 Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation restaurants. Peppercoins rewards solution uses the payment cards already in consumers' wallets to increase consumer loyalty and retention.
Garden Fresh, which served more than 28 million guests in 2004, will use Peppercoin’s Merchant Loyalty & Rewards solution and consulting services to improve the effectiveness of its loyalty programs with real-time payments data and customer analytics that fine-tune its rewards to better meet customer needs and drive incremental revenues.“We searched over a year for a loyalty solution that would match the high-quality offerings we provide our customers. Only Peppercoin met our strict requirements of no extra cards for the consumer to carry, no changes at our point-of-sale, and no delay in getting to real-time analytics to measure the effectiveness of different rewards,” said Ken Keane, vice president of marketing, Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. “Just as importantly, Peppercoin’s solution has the flexibility to adapt to our changing needs as we evolve our programs.”
Peppercoin’s credit and debit card-based loyalty solution enables merchants to reward customers for returning more frequently and spending more when they do. Merchants deploying the solution have reported significant increases in repeat business and lifetime customer value. Only Peppercoin’s card-based approach eliminates traditional barriers to loyalty enrollment and usage and provides merchants with real-time insight into customer purchasing behavior. Merchants can manage customer rewards instantly based on rules they define and can fine-tune rewards to best meet business needs. Unlike other loyalty programs, consumers can enroll with just a single swipe of a credit or debit card already in their wallet.
“This is a significant win for Peppercoin and truly demonstrates the unique value of our credit and debit card-based loyalty approach for restaurants and other retailers,” said Mark Friedman, president and CEO of Peppercoin. “We have given merchants secure access to the most relevant and important customer behavioral data * their customers’ payments data * so that they can increase the effectiveness of their loyalty programs based on the analysis we provide.”
Peppercoin and Chase Paymentech Solutions, Garden Fresh’s current card processing provider, worked closely together to meet Garden Fresh’s business requirements.
“Chase Paymentech Solutions and Peppercoin continue to leverage our close relationship to deliver merchants innovative solutions that drive card adoption and add functionality to existing cards,” said Robert Wechsler, executive vice president, Global Sales & Client Services for Chase Paymentech Solutions.
