InComm Prepares For Holiday Gift Card Sales

Tags » Gift Cards, InComm

Atlanta-based InComm says it anticipates the greatest demand in history for its products and services this Holiday shopping season. "We've never seen demand so high," said Brooks Smith, InComm President and CEO. "We have a unique perspective in that we see the increased demand and resulting sales across all retail channels. We expect our gift card sales to at least triple last year's numbers, and our retail partners and their customers will benefit from expanded offerings at more convenient shopping locations."

InComm is enabling retailers to provide their customers with one-stop shopping destinations to find the perfect gifts for all their friends and loved ones. Gift cards are available for not only leading retail and restaurant locations, but also downloadable music for mp3 players, mobile phone games and ring tones and more. Prepaid wireless handsets also make great gifts, and for the gift recipient who already has a prepaid phone, InComm offers prepaid airtime cards for all of the nation's leading wireless providers.

"Gift recipients love gift cards because of the freedom they offer, and gift buyers love them as well because they are an easy shopping decision," said Smith. "As more retail partners sell gift cards, everyone benefits. It increases awareness when consumers see gift cards repetitively at different locations, and the increased awareness helps all retailers sell more gift cards."

The gift card explosion is not limited to birthdays and Christmas gifts. Many corporations are turning to gift cards as a way to provide employee incentives and prepaid debit cards as a means of controlling and tracking expenses. InComm can provide companies with bulk purchase solutions for financial gift cards that companies can use as incentives, bonuses or rewards for a job well done.

"InComm has been driving technology and product innovations for 15 years, helping retailers remain on the forefront of the emerging product categories that their customers want," said Smith. "Since we're partnered with virtually all of the leading retailers in the categories we serve, we are committed to not only providing our partners with the products and services that are popular today, but also keeping them in touch with what customers will want next year and the year after."

InComm's technology enables leading retailers to offer a number of products ideal for gift giving, including popular gift cards for restaurants, clothing stores, movies and entertainment, electronics, sporting goods and more. InComm also features financial gift cards that can be used anywhere major credit cards are accepted.

All these products and more are available for sale at many of the locations among InComm's retail distribution network of 145,000 stores, featuring top retailers in many categories.
