American Express Membership Rewards Bonus Points Mall
Ecommerce malls are back. In the early days of ecommerce, there were some true believers who felt that the real-world shopping mall would transform into online malls. Some tried, most failed. Today, they're back. In the latest mall news, American Express today launched the Bonus Points Mall, "a new benefit that enables Membership Rewards enrollees to earn two points for virtually every dollar spent at more than 100 top
brand name online retailers."
The Bonus Points Mall provides a new and simple way to reward eligible, enrolled Cardmembers for online shopping and is accessible through the Membership Rewards website or directly at http://www.BonusPointsMall.com.
In addition, American Express has made significant enhancements to the Membership Rewards website to provide a state- of-the-art online experience for Cardmembers when shopping and redeeming their rewards points online.
The Bonus Points Mall features more than 100 top online retailers across 23 categories, such as apparel, books, electronics, home and sports. Cardmembers can select from merchants such as saks.com, Homedepot.com, Best Buy, Ann Taylor, Brooks Brothers, Staples.com, Sephora and RedEnvelope. The Bonus Points Mall was designed to provide a simple and seamless shopping experience. Cardmembers simply log in and browse the Bonus Points Mall; click on a link to their favorite online retailer; and use an eligible American Express Card to make the purchase online.
"Cardmembers are increasingly spending online and we want to reward them for putting more of their spending on the American Express Card," said Ralph Andretta, senior vice president and general manager of Membership Rewards for American Express. "The Bonus Points Mall is just another way we are enhancing the value of the Membership Rewards program and offering Cardmembers new ways to earn bonus points that they can redeem for the items they really want."
American Express has made transformational design and structural changes to the Membership Rewards website. The redesign offers easy-to-use search and navigation features, rich media applications, and state-of-the-art personalization capabilities -- all designed to visually engage Cardmembers and simplify their online experience.
