H&R Block Joins Green Dot Financial Network
Green Dot Corporation has announced that H&R Block has joined the Green Dot Financial Network to enable its customers to add funds to H&R Block's prepaid debit cards.
The easy-to-use process enables a customer to load funds onto his or her H&R Block card at tens of thousands of convenient Green Dot(R) Financial Network retail locations nationwide, including America's top retailers such as Rite Aid, Walgreens, RadioShack and CVS/pharmacy.
The multi-year agreement allows H&R Block to increase the retention of its prepaid cardholders while giving H&R Block customers a powerful financial tool. The year-round program is set to launch in mid-August.
"With 50,000 retail locations, Green Dot Financial Network has been designed with customer convenience in mind," said Steve Streit, CEO of Green Dot Corporation. "H&R Block prepaid debit cardholders will now be able to add funds to their cards in almost any neighborhood in the country."
