PayPal Mobile And Vending Machine Payments
Automatic Merchandiser reports on eSecure Peripherals, a Montreal, Canada-based cashless payment provider and their PayPal Payment Module for networked cashless payment terminals.
Vending patrons can reload their house account using either PayPal or PayPal mobile. To recharge their account, a patron text messages PayPal with a request to add funds to their account. Within minutes, the funds are transferred to their account, ready to use. With PayPal Mobile, a user can add funds to their account using a cell phone while standing in front of the vending machine."eSecure has always been at the forefront of cashless payment" said Allan Brown, president of eSecure Peripherals, in a prepared statement. "We have been looking at alternatives to cash for a number of years; PayPal Mobile is the first mobile payment system that is accessible to both the vending operator and the user.
