More About MoniLink And The Mobile ATM

Tags » ATM, Authentication, Mobile Banking

While doing some additional research on the MoniLink being introduced in the UK, we recently came across a white paper by MobileATM Ltd. describing the Mobile ATM opportunity (PDF).

Using a J2ME Java-based application downloaded to the bank customer's mobile phone, balance inquiry and mobile phone top-up applications are supported. Use of the mobile phone as a second-factor authentication token is also being planned. The MobileATM PIN is a completely separate PIN from that used with a card at a physical ATM and must be between 5 and 12 digits in length.
