Atlanta Braves, MasterCard Introduce PayPass To Turner Field
The Atlanta Braves and MasterCard have announced that all concession and most portable stands at Turner Field will accept payment cards for the first time ever this season. Additionally, Turner Field concessions will accept contactless credit card transactions and fans with a MasterCard PayPass-enabled card or device can just "Tap & Go when making a purchase under $25 at concession stands.
"We are always striving to improve our fans experience," said Mike Plant, Atlanta Braves Executive Vice President of Business Operations. "The convenience of allowing payment cards, especially those with PayPass technology, will help improve the timing of fans going to the concession stands, so they can enjoy more time in their seats watching the game.""The benefits and functionality of MasterCard PayPass are ideally suited for stadium settings," said Art Kranzley, Executive Vice President, Advanced Payments, MasterCard International. "PayPass is a perfect way for sports teams to enhance the fan experience by allowing fans to quickly make their purchases."
