Some Landlords, Renters Look At Paying Rent With Credit, Debit Cards

The Winston-Salem Journal carries an AP story about card acceptance is rapidly increasing among landlords who are enabling their renters to pay monthly rent via credit and debit cards.

Visa and Mastercard spokespeople said they've found that most customers paying rent with a card are using a debit card, not a credit card. Even credit-card users are paying their bill at the end of the month, using it to take advantage of rewards, they said.
