On PayPal's Omaha Expansion

In the "all news is local news" department, PayPal has announced in La Vista that they are adding a new building to their support center outside Omaha to house the 600 new people they will be adding to the 1000 person facility they already have in the community. They had 500 people in this center three years ago and had just recently expanded last fall. The best part about the story is the link to the video coverage of the story (the movie camera icon) on the local news in Omaha on Wednesday evening.I think almost all of these people are in customer support and fraud management. 1,600 people is an interesting data point for Google or for those mobile P2P start up companies itching to become the PayPal of mobile commerce.
