Another Comment On PayPal And Mobile Payments
Patrick Baltatzis reports for Business 2.0 on earlier rumors driven by job postings that PayPal may be planning to get in (or back in) to the mobile payments business.
Baltatzis suggests that the entry of new companies like TextPayMe may indicate that the timing is right for PayPal.
"PayPal has done a great job online," says Phil Yuen, TextPayMe's 25-year-old CEO. "We feel there's more to be done in the real world, where the Internet is not involved."
