The Personal Finance Blogs - Money Bloggers
This week's Business Week reports on a new category of personal finance blogs called "money bloggers" - where the authors discuss their personal financial situations, their goals and strategies, and share their financial results as they make their moves.
It's financial "reality TV" - except it's not on TV! Example blogs cited include: Portland, OR-based Jonathan Ping's MyMoneyBlog.com, a Chicago couple's Makelovenotdebt.com, and a New Yorker's nycmoney.iblogs.com. These three are just the tip of the iceberg in this rapidly expanding category of blogs - my own RSS reader has about a dozen of these money blogs subscribed.
Speaking of blogs, Business Week also has an interview with SixApart co-founder and CEO Mena Trott on the future of blogs. Payments News runs on SixApart's TypePad platform.
