Making Payments News Easier To Use
We wrote recently about how we've added some new search capabilities to Payments News - for easily searching both the Payments News Archive as well as searching the web for articles similar in content to the one you're reading.
Today, we're enhancing those searches so that they can easily be invoked using hot keys - without lifting you finger to make a mouse or trackpad click. Now, when you're reading an individual post, you can use the "s" hotkey to invoke the search of the Payments News Archive and the "w" hotkey to invoke the search for similar articles on the web.
In addition, when reading an individual article page, you can now use hotkeys to easily scroll from individual article to article or to return to the main Payments News index page. To read the next article, use the "n" hotkey. To read the prior article, use the "p" hotkey. To exit out of an individual article and return to the main Payments News index page, use the "m" hotkey.
About hotkeys: you'll need to use a two-key sequence to actually invoke a hotkey. On Windows machines, you use ATL + the hotkey character. For example, ATL+s to invoke the search of the Payments News archive. On Macs, you use CTRL + the hotkey character.
We hope you enjoy these enhancements to Payments News!
