Credit Cards - You Have To Take Them!
In a follow-up to Waffle House's decision to begin accepting credit cards, Sue Stock reports for the Raleigh, NC News & Observer on the story. According Bryson McKinney, a Waffle House franchisee, "Pretty much everybody's come to the conclusion that you have to take them."
"We would get letters to the corporate office asking why we didn't take them," said company spokeswoman Charnae Knight. "Our motto for the longest time was, 'We're looking out for the poor old cash customer.' But we realized no one carries cash anymore."
