Lyle Elias reports for ATMmarketplace.com on his outlook re: stored value cards for 2006 - including speculation about the potential launch of a Discover signature-based debit card.

This year we will most likely see a new signature debit card from the Discover Network. Stan Paur, president and chief executive of Discover's Pulse EFT network, said he expects an announcement to be made within the next couple of months.
