TextPayMe - The Real Story

TextPayMeOver on the TextPayMe blog, the founders share why they really started this new mobile payments company:

"We wanted to split dinnertime bills easily and fairly."

TextPayMe has also begun a limited time promotion paying new members a $5 bounty to join the service. Because new members have to confirm back joining the service by sending an SMS message from the registered mobile phone number, TextPayMe can avoid the issues that PayPal experienced in the early days when users signed up for multiple accounts using different email addresses just to get the bounties PayPal was offering.
