More On New York Subway PayPass Trial
Sewell Chan reports for the New York Times on the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's upcoming trial with MasterCard and Citibank of PayPass technology for payment of subway fares.
Chan reports that MasterCard and Citi are paying for the trial at no cost to the transit agency and that PayPass cards from other issuers (such as Chase and MBNA) cannot be used in the trial.
