As a result of this partnership, Cardinal's online merchants--including some of the best-known names in e-commerce, such as Hotwire, Tiger Direct, NewEgg, BuyDig, Tool King, and Sam Goody--can now let people pay for products and services by extending online banking to online shopping.

According to data from Forrester Research, 30 percent of U.S. consumers don't shop online because of Internet security concerns. Tool King, a leading online retailer of consumer, professional, and industrial tools, recently added SECURE-eBill to their payment platform. The first day the alternative payment option launched on their web site, Tool King saw an increase of approximately 1.5 percent in sales, a number they believe will continue to increase as their customers discover the security and convenience of using of SECURE-eBill.
