GE's In Tune With New Credit Card
Harold Davis reports for the Stamford, CT Advocate on GE Consumer FInance's new private label credit card for Carvin Music.
David Luster, vice president of emerging markets with GE Consumer Finance's Retail Sales Finance unit, said the company began offering revolving credit card programs in 2003 with NAMM. It also has programs with Yamaha and Steinway instruments."It gives the retailer or dealer a source for financing that we can provide . . . it brings a dedicated line of credit and builds customer loyalty. The card is good for the first purchase as well as for repeat business," Luster said.
Carvin Music was founded in 1946 and made a name in the industry for making guitar pickups. The company has since grown into a custom manufacturer of guitars, basses, amplifiers and pro audio equipment.
