GE Appoints Margaret Keane, President and CEO, Retail Consumer Finance

GE has announced the appointment of several new company officers including Margaret Keane, 46, named as President and CEO, Retail Consumer Finance, GE Consumer Finance-Americas.

In her role, Keane is in charge of driving growth for the company's retail card clients. Keane joined GE Consumer Finance in 2002 as Senior Vice President, Operations for Consumer Finance-Americas. She was Chief Quality Officer with GE Capital from 2000 to 2002. Margaret joined GE in 1996 from Citibank, where she had been Retail Bank Operations Director. Margaret earned an MBA from St. John's University in 1986 and a Bachelors' in Political Science in 1981.
