EUFISERV and China UnionPay Link Up
EUFISERV and China UnionPay have announced an agreement that will allow China UnionPay cardholders to access participating EUFISERV member ATM's for cash withdrawal. This is the first agreement that China UnionPay has made with a European processing company.
Mr. Yongchun Liu, Executive Vice President of CUP, says "The joint effort devoted by EUFISERV and China UnionPay will enable CUP cardholders to use their CUP branded cards at EUFISERV Network ATMs in 12 European countries. We believe the project will lay a solid foundation based on which CUP card can become a global safe and reliable payment instrument gradually."Mr. Petter N. Johansen, Managing Director of EUFISERV, says "With member banks in 12 European countries operating 60,000+ ATMs, we are well positioned to support China UnionPay in their goals and are honoured that they choose us. We look forward to the start of this business and building further on our relationship.”
