Credit Card Companies Mull Security Crackdown on Merchants

Some merchants have adopted PCI. Others are still working on it, says Joe Majka, vice president for Visa USA's fraud control and cardholder information security program."I don't know the exact percentage, but if their plan to get into full compliance sounds reasonable to us, we are going to work with those merchants to help them get there," he said.
