Commerce Bank to Use RSA SecurID for Authentication
RSA Security has announced that Commerce Bank will be using RSA's SecurID token for two-factor authentication of more than 4,000 employees and corporate banking customers.
"Since we're using the Internet to conduct online bank transactions and access sensitive customer information, it was essential that we found a security solution that provided strong user authentication and data protection and which prevented unauthorized access to confidential information," said Mark Price, information security analyst, Commerce Bank. "Commerce Bank is committed to providing the highest level of security for its customer base, but not at the expense of making it more complicated for them to access their account information. The RSA SecurID solution improved the end-users' experience while significantly reducing deployment time and cost, and administrative burden."
