PayPal Class Action Settlement Claims Procedures
PayPal has been emailing members regarding procedures they should follow for submitting claims related to the recent settlement by PayPal of a class action lawsuit.
Claims can be submitted online using either a short form or long form claim. The short form claim provides for a $50 payment to claimants who lost money using PayPal as a result of a list of reasons -- with the amount to be adjusted based upon the number of claims submitted. The settlement applies to PayPal members who opened their PayPal accounts between October 1999 and January 2004.
