PayPal says Bank One infringing patent

The Chicago Sun Times is carrying a Bloomberg story this morning reporting that eBay's PayPal unit has sued Bank One over patent infringement.

PayPal contends that its online bill-payment system, patented in 1998, is being wrongly used by Chicago's largest bank. The Mountain View, Calif.-based unit of eBay seeks a jury trial and unspecified damages in its lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Delaware.
