ClickandBuy has announced it plans to offer secure person-to-person payments and a cash voucher program for the European market, as well as bringing its phone billing service to the U.S. market.

Wells Fargo said today that it will become "the first financial institution in the U.S. to provide Back Office Conversion (BOC) to its business customers through multiple depository channels when new electronic check processing rules take effect March 16."

UK payment services companies Voca and LINK Interchange Network have announced their intention to merge to create VocaLINK with the combined company expected to handle over 8 billion payment transactions this year.

The 41st Parameter has announced that GSI Commerce has selected its proprietary FraudNet solution to identify client devices online to detect and prevent Internet fraud. According to the companies, "GSI, which operates eCommerce businesses for about 60 partners in 11 retail merchandise categories, uses FraudNet to identify suspect versus legitimate online devices and transactions to help prevent criminals from completing fraudulent purchases."

Experian has announced an alliance with VoiceVerified to "jointly market and sell authentication solutions that combine data-based and voice biometric authentication technologies to verify an individual's identity. Multifactor authentication will result in reduced fraud and associated operational losses for organizations, address Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council guidance requirements and provide a more secure operating environment for consumers."
